Hello. I’m Wendy Velarde, CEO and Founder of PrepairNow. I grew up in Roseville, Minnesota and love to teach and learn. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from California State University, Northridge. In addition, I have a Master’s degree from the University of Minnesota in Human Resources and Industrial Relations. I also have a Master’s degree in International Business from the University of St. Thomas.   

From a young age, I’ve enjoyed working with and helping others. I have over 25 years of experience working with people in human resources, and it has been extremely rewarding.

After managing the estates of my father, and sister, Robin—the inspiration for our logo—I realized the incredible amount of work involved, and how much easier it would have been if things had just been in order. It was then that I was introduced to and became interested in End of Life Planning, and how I might be able to help others with this knowledge. I started helping friends, family, coworkers and others. Over the years, I've done hours of research and gained valuable insight into just what it takes to be truly prepared for the end of your life, not only for your own peace of mind, but for those loved ones you leave behind.

I created PrepairNow to help people who want to take action and make decisions on their End of Life Planning, but don’t know where to start. We are honest, ethical, compassionate and discreet. We care about you and your well-being and will create an end of life planning system designed specifically around your needs.
